Campus Life
Life is an adventure, and at Citadel Christian School students are prepared to run the race with wisdom, compassion, grace, and, most importantly, a worldview that produces Christ-like citizens, ready for useful service. Students enjoy rich academics, joyful fine arts performances, opportunities to serve their community, and much more. Wherever our students are found—in or out of the classroom—they are being equipped to exercise a proper role in the family, in the body of Christ, and as a citizen. Student life at Citadel Christian School integrates all aspects of spiritual, academic, and social life.

Spiritual Formation
At Citadel Christian School our focus is not solely on academic education, but also on the spiritual development of the students. In addition to the integration of biblical principles in every subject, we take time each week to worship together in chapel.
We recognize the benefits of memorizing and applying the Word of God in our daily lives (Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1:1-3; Psalm 119:11).
Chapel
Chapel is an important part of our students’ spiritual development. Once a week, the student body comes together for a time of worship, prayer, and encouragement from the Bible. A brief message from God’s Word is delivered by the school staff or a guest speaker. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend chapel.
In keeping with our classical design, students will be learning a great hymn of the faith each month. You can preview the 2025-2026 hymns here.
Scripture Memorization
Citadel incorporates monthly Scripture passages that support the chapel theme each year. Students in grades 1 through 12 will all memorize these Bible passages in addition to portions of the Bible assigned to a grade level every year. Students will receive a Bible test grade each month for memorization. Additionally, students who diligently apply themselves to practice and memorize the assigned Scriptures will be eligible to receive awards at the Spring Awards Ceremony.
